Colby Educational Consulting provides educational consulting and advocacy-informed parent support for families navigating school systems, special education processes, and academic challenges.

Founded by Alexandra Colby, a Massachusetts-licensed educator with ten years of experience in elementary education, special education, and case management, this practice is grounded in real classroom experience and a deep understanding of how schools operate, both structurally and relationally.

Alex’s work centers on helping parents understand evaluations, IEPs, 504 plans, and school-based recommendations in clear, accessible language. By translating school processes into practical next steps, families are better equipped to participate confidently in educational decision-making and advocate for their children with clarity rather than conflict.

At Colby Educational Consulting, support is collaborative, thoughtful, and parent-directed. Services are designed to meet families where they are, whether that means clarifying a single document, preparing for an important meeting, or navigating more complex school transitions over time.

All services are educational and consultative in nature and do not include legal or medical representation.
